# Can I apply multiple discounts to the same product?

Yes, you can apply multiple discounts to the same product by using the **Reduction** campaign type.

#### How it works

Reduction campaigns apply discounts **sequentially**.

* Each discount is calculated on the **remaining price** after the previous discount is applied.
* If multiple discounts within the same Reduction campaign apply to the same product, they will all apply one after another.

#### Important Notes

* This works with:
  * An **automatic + code** combination, or
  * A **single code campaign** containing multiple discounts
* Using multiple separate code campaigns together is **not supported**.
* The **Reduction** campaign type does not work with native Shopify discounts - only with discounts created inside our app.
* You cannot stack multiple **code campaigns** together.
* You *can* stack **automatic campaigns with code campaigns**.\
  In that case:
  * Automatic campaign discounts are applied first
  * Code campaign discounts are applied afterward
