# What happens to my discounts if I change my Shopify store currency?

All monetary values in the app use your Shopify store currency. If you change your store currency, existing discount amounts and other monetary values are **not converted using an exchange rate**. The numeric values remain the same and are interpreted in the new currency.

For example, if you have a **$100 USD** fixed discount and change your store currency to EUR, the discount will become **€100 EUR**, not the converted equivalent of $100.

We recommend reviewing your campaigns after changing your store currency to make sure the amounts are still appropriate.
