Why aren’t multiple discounts stacking on Shopify POS?
Shopify offers two POS versions: POS Lite and POS Pro.
POS Pro supports multiple (stacked) discounts.
POS Lite does not support discount stacking, meaning multiple discounts cannot be applied at the same time.
If you are using POS Lite, stacked discounts may not work as expected.
To make discounts apply correctly on POS Lite, we recommend combining them into a single subtotal discount instead of stacking them.
Follow these steps:
Open the app
Go to Settings → General
Under Discount display, select Subtotal
With this configuration, all applicable discounts are combined into a single subtotal discount. This ensures no eligible discount is omitted, even when using POS Lite.
Please note:
If you select Subtotal as the discount display and use automatic campaigns, a single unified discount title will be shown at checkout.
This is expected behavior, as all applicable discounts are combined into one subtotal discount.
You can customize this title from your Theme settings.
